About Me
I’m a sports communications and media relations professional focused on telling compelling stories and supporting the fast-paced environments that bring sports to life. I graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Writing, Rhetoric & Technical Communication and a minor in Sport Communication, where I developed a strong foundation in journalism, storytelling, and live event coverage.
Today, I work in media relations within Banana Ball, supporting professional athletes and helping coordinate press coverage in stadiums across the country. In this role, I assist with media credentialing, interview coordination, press materials, and shaping how players and events are represented across national and local outlets. Working in these environments has strengthened my ability to operate under pressure while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong relationships with members of the media.
Before entering professional baseball environments, I served as a Traveling Communications Intern with the American Junior Golf Association, directing tournament communications across multiple states. I produced written coverage, managed event storytelling, and worked alongside tournament directors to deliver timely and engaging content throughout the season.
My background also includes sports journalism and live production experience. As a writer for The Breeze, I covered multiple Division I programs while producing interviews and game coverage on deadline. I also worked with JMU Sports Network, supporting ESPN+ broadcasts and gaining hands-on experience with live production and in-game storytelling.
Across each role, I’ve learned that great sports communication relies on preparation, trust, and attention to detail. Whether coordinating media operations, supporting athletes, or crafting stories around the game, I’m passionate about helping audiences connect with sports in meaningful ways.
